Anthony Waguespack, 54, a band teacher at Assumption High School in Napoleonville, Louisiana has been arrested and booked on charges of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes and indecent behavior with juveniles.
Waguespack was arrested as the result of an internet sting conducted by the Kenner, Louisiana Police Department.
It is alleged that between September and December 2007 that Waguespack communicated with whom he thought was an underaged girl but was in reality Kenner Detective Robert McGraw. It is further alleged that in December that Waguespack via webcam sent images of himself masturbating to Detective McGraw.
Waguespack was arrested Friday and was released from jail on $20,000 bail on Monday.
Waguespack a veteran teacher of 33 years has been placed on paid suspension.
Waguespack was arrested as the result of the same sting which ensnared Michael C. Sprinkel a social studies teacher and head coach of the varsity softball team at Brookfield East High School in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

he was highly respected by everyone at AHS..//
although he’s never taught me as a student, i loved to go to his class for alternates..//
it’s just unbelievable..unbearable..//
i’ve always saw him as the sweetest man..//
now i see why he was so sweet & i see why he stayed on that computer at all times..//
a complete disappointment..//

i think i am going to agree with Seraiah. i would have never thought that he was the type of man to do that. Just to think that is what he was probably doing in class on the computer all morning. yea well. i think he needs to get charged because you never know if he did that to someone at AHS.

I walked in class every morning without a clue that the person standing before me would ever find it n his heart to do anything similar to this …… looks are decieving because he looked like a kind, older, respectable man thats what we all tought of him in his first hour class.

You would never think that a man that you see everyday would do something like that…. its sad!
