Anthony Bert “Tony” Nunn, a science teacher and assistant football coach at Gaston High School in Gadsden, Alabama has been arrested and charged on a misdemeanor count with the harassment of a 16-year-old female student.
According to a report in the Gadsden Times Nunn allegedly pulled the girl into a closet from a hallway in the school and began kissing her.
Reportedly Nunn has been placed on administrative leave by the school system and following his arrest was freed on $2,000 bond.

Now we can see the true person behind the computer. Idle threts of “if I knew where you lived”. I don’t believe you can handle reality or your own darkness. Yes, my life is bassed on God’s Word. No if , ands or buts about it. I have lived a fruitful life in Him and He is much more than a crutch He is MY hope, my shield, fights my battles, and he will do the same for you and Tony Nunn. I am not perfect and will never be. We all have to face the choices we make good or bad. I have made bad choices in my life and payed dearly for them but with God’s help made it through the tough times. No bondage here only freedom in knowing Jesus. I am not a mean or hard hearted person. I just believe if the guy is guilty he should pay. Now why that makes you so mad I don’t have a clue. I will tell you this one thing! God knows the truth and He will be the ultimate judge not you, me or any court. Thats just how it is like it or not. I do not hide behind the bible I stand on it! I have been praying for him and will continue. By the way the police had the goods on him before he was arrested. First time I have ever been blamed with threatening any person with GOD! Please give me my quote where I stated you could do no wronge by haveing knowledge and fear of GOD as a Christian. God knows our human nature and feelings. He made us. That is why we have his word and He sent His Son Jesus to die . Yes I am a crusader for Him. I will choose God every time over anything this world has to offer. Try HIM!!!!

“It’s a ‘he said, she said’ situation and he get arrested without any proof. Typical BS action by the police and administration. Why can’t they investigate first to see if they have a case before making an arrest.
If it’s found out that the girl is lying what happens to her besides nothing? The students always get a pass for lying and the teachers’ lives are never the same. (Deleted by site moderator)

You are one of those people who is always the victim. I am thankful there is still good school administration and law enforcement. I have always been of the opinion ,if a person abides by the law and is kind to his fellow man, he or she will be far removed from being involved with the police. Just do what is right and avoid what is wronge. Why is that so hard to understand for some people. If you abuse your wife, that is wronge. If you love and cherish her ,that is right. Just an example of common horse sense! If you murder a person, wronge. If you lend a hand and help save a life, right. Bury your problems with drugs and alchohol, wronge. Take your burdens to the Lord, right. I could go on for hours with this. My point is ,there is no gray matter to right and wronge. My question has still not been addressed. If this was your son or daughter. Would you be for this teacher or would you be for your child? I hope you would say your child. Justice will be served one way or the other. That is not a threat it is a warning from God’s WORD. I never read in the bible where God did not make one promise He did not fulfill. I am a christian and not ashamed to stand for what is right! I will keep standing for those who are weak and not able to stand. Ralph’s mom, I have never read a more ignorant statement than the one you posted. My bible reads that the FEAR of GOD is the beginning of all wisdom. Threaten people with God!! What kind of statement is that? How do you threaten a person with God? I could never tell Him what to do. His power, strength, and wisdom is so far above mine it blows my mind. I will tell you what He said He would do to those who abuse little children. You can even read it for yourself! I hope this site will inform thousands about the predetors around them. RUN THEM OUT OF TOWN!!!
P.S. Christians ,it is time to rise up in the name of THE LORD and stand for what is right!! I know that makes you liberals mad as heck but I DO NOT CARE! Build a bridge and get over it! When I speak of being careful, that is in no stretch of the imagination, a thret. All I am saying is in my own life I have been unwise in decisions I have made and God has shown me through His power what is the right way. Rape had not even been talked about till you brought it up. I have not said one thing out of school. He was fired twice for his bad conduct and unprofessional conduct with students! Please lets keep the children 1st. They are precious young lives that need guidance from trustworthy men and women. I believe we have many in our system that are great. On the other hand those that cause harm to these young kids need to be delt with sternly! The line about President Bush bout made me spit out my coke I was drinking. How the heck can you get that our President has anything to do with this?

God has a way of makeing it real in your life!” you shouldn’t threaten people with god. not that i’m afraid of him, i do wish i was a 16 year old girl again though. my point is that high school age kids are all screwed up in the head especially the female ones. you may not be passing judgment, for this is not a courtroom but you are judging=The act of criticizing or labeling another person or thing.
it is highly unprofessional but christ at least it wasn’t rape charges i bet some people would have a field day with that on these oh so informant/important boards, i just knew bush would screw everything and everybody up
Not passing judgement. Leaving that to the courts and GOD! This man’s past speaks for itself. I have been dissapointed by many I have put trust in. Can you tell me why he was fired at two other schools and Gaston ends up with this kind of educator! His hard work has been tarnished by the decisions HE and I said he as an adult made. We all have to make choices every day between right and wronge. His choices have caught up with him! Please view this situation as if it was your son or daughter. If he is not guilty he will be cleared. Not a good start by chaseing the girl through school. Not a good choice by a professional. Also not a good wittness to his character. You see these kind of people gain trust of all those around them. Then they prey on the weak. Then they go around like “who done it”? when they get caught. Oh ,and by the way, what if it is true. Are you willing to help with counseling bills and sleepless nights of a young girl who went to school one day trusting those in charge and then was devestated by a teacher she trusted. All I have to say he better be glad she is not a kid of mine!!! I hope and pray the truth will be revealed. Be careful of how you handle these situations. i happen to know the guy, great person and teacher. besides he’s a science teacher and coach; reasoning and strategy skills apply there, don’t you think he knew what would happen if he did do it. and it’s people like you that feel free to give slanderous libel as opinions, how do you know what really happened, that give a lot of people a bad name just because someone should be made an example of. what if he didn’t do it? he really has had his character dragged through the mud now
and i’m sure no one will stop attacking the man until we know what really happened.
i’ve seen a lot of 16 year old girls who are very childish and immature, they wouldn’t think of a man’s life and career and reputation on the line that is so dearly worked for.
maybe she was the one who had a crush and got rejected or was getting failing grades or was just bored and felt like some limelight was needed

I believe if you will follow this man, to him being fired at Ragland High, his conduct has not been that of a professional administrator. Conduct like this will no longer be swept under the rug. Teachers and coaches have to be held accoutable. If this was your daughter how would you handle the situation. I believe this is just the tip of the iceburg. Teachers and coaches, past and present, will soon have to answer for there actions! Sooner or later people pay for bad deeds. No more hideing!!! We are going to catch every last one of the pervs. I don’t care what profession they are in or how untouchable they think they are. NO PERSON IS ABOVE THE LAW!!
No, this guy has a reputation among students for this. Just ask some of his former students at the schools where he has taught. Someone was finally brave enough to stand up to him.
Unfortunately (fortunately??) sex crimes don’t require witnesses. Point the finger and ye shall be arrested. Simple as that.
