Angel Candanoza

Angel Fidencio Candanoza, 28, a teacher’s aide at D.M. Sauceda Middle School in Donna, Texas has been arrested on allegations of the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old female student.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’ says that the girl run away from home and that Candanoza took her in and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The alleged victim told investigators that Candanoza was her boyfriend and that she had sex with Candanoza on August 7th at his residence.

It is further alleged that Candanoza sexually assaulted the girl more than once.

A warrant for Candanoza’s arrest was reportedly issued on Friday and he turned himself in on Tuesday and was arraigned.

Bond for Candanoza was set in the amount of $50,000 and if convicted he could face up to life in prison.
