(07/30/08 – Initial BBT Report)
Amy Northcutt, 26, a former history teacher at Turlock Christian School in Turlock, California along with husband Justin Northcutt was arrested in early June on suspicion of distribution or exhibition of lewd material to a minor and annoying or molesting a child under 18.

The Northcutts are alleged to have sent sexually explicit cell phone messages and photos to a 16-year-old female student in an effort to arrange group sex with the girl.
The Stanislaus County district attorney’s office indicated on Tuesday that the Northcutts will face criminal charges although the exact nature of the charges was not revealed.
The Northcutts came to the attention of authorities by way of the girl’s mother, reportedly after Justin Northcutt was spotted talking to the alleged victim while she attended a family gathering.
Following her arrest Amy Northcutt was released on $10,000 bail.
Reportedly Amy Northcutt resigned from the school prior to her attest.

Lame,
The state of California for some reason does not always make certain sex offender information public. I don’t know why some animals are excluded from this humiliation? I always wondered what the victims family said at the final sentencing; I hope they stuck it to these pigs. On a lighter note, Amy and Justin probably made a lot of friends in prison.
I can imagine some of the other sex offenders meeting Justin and about to give him a high five, then realizing the three-way sex never actually took place, and then turning around and calling Justin a loser. I mean, if you’re going to go to jail and s**** up your and your wife’s lives, at least go through with the sex. It’s like robbing a bank and then never actually spending the money before being caught.
Lame,
Amy and Justin are not exactly what you would call criminal masterminds, and what they did is not exactly the caper of the century. It is wrong to pressure an UNDERAGE girl into a threesome, but it is just stupid on so many levels to send sexually explicit text messages. I should write sexually explicit evidence. Their felony, in three years, will drop down to a misdemeanor, and they could teach again in the state of California. Don’t you just love Cali?
California just loves its criminals. These two aren’t on a publicly-viewable sex offender registry, and Sandra Cantu (who raped and murdered her daughter’s best friend) won’t face the death penalty.
She’s been out of jail for many months now, but still isn’t on any sex offender registry. I wonder if she’s bucking for another felony conviction for failure to register.
I wanna (Expletive deleted by site moderator) this Amy Northcutt chick so bad! She sounds like a freak! But her husband should do some jail time, cuz he’s a guy.

Shadecaster, you’re the freak; and I don’t mean that in a good way.
Does anyone know what went on at the impact sentencing? It looks like the media wasn’t allowed access?
They get to walk around free until the end of November, this sucks. Anyway, I hope the victim’s family didn’t pull any punches on these two pigs!
I wonder what Amy is going to tell her child about sex when it gets older? Sex is something that is really special! It’s between a man and a woman and another underage girl.
Rot in prison Amy!
The Northcutt’s are being sentenced today. I wonder if they are going to cry like the cowards that they are? I hope that their sentencing will deter other teachers who think that can get away with such a heinous crime.
>>who hasn’t smashed a pregnant chick?!?!?
Having sex with a pregnant woman is like putting gas into a car you’ve already wrecked.
If she was prego wouldn’t it be a foursome??? Anyhow, these sad-sack individuals are off the streets for at least a minute. Be interesting to see how long before they divorce, if it isn’t already in the works.
And on a sidenote: who hasn’t smashed a pregnant chick?!?!?
From what I’m able to gather, Amy and Justin were good people. It’s unfortunate that one indiscretion negates a life of clean living. In no way am I defending their actions, what they did was wrong and I’m glad they were caught. I’m just saying that it’s sad seeing people pissing their whole lives away. There really is no way to come back from something likes this. The one I feel bad for is their kid. The kid’s classmates will find out about this and they will get tease her.
You’re right about there being more to this story. Perhaps, if the court records are unsealed someday….
That’s an interesting theory Lame, yah, I think toward the ending of a pregnancy women get really horny, so Justin just had to wait a few months for all the fat pregnant lady sex he could handle. I’m not buying this Amy is a victim too nonsense. Amy had more contact with the girl, being that the victim was a student of Amy’s. From earlier post, from a year ago, people claiming to know the girl (victim) suggest that she was to blame as well.
I don’t doubt that the victim showed some interest in the Northcutt’s, but that doesn’t make it right for Amy and Justin to try to arrange a threesome with the girl.
There’s probably more to this story that we will never know. We do know that the Northcutt’s were punished and will be for suffering for the rest of their lives.
Oh, there’s something else I was wondering about the case, the intent for the sex act, itself. If the baby was born in December, that means she was between 1-3 months pregnant when the solicitation of the girl occurred. I’m wondering if because she was preggers she couldn’t or wouldn’t have sex with Justin, and so, being a horny male, with another half-a-year to do without getting any, he didn’t talk her into doing this so he could poke holes in someone else’s donuts while her bun was still in the oven.
>>Lame or Tworld, do you have anything to add?
Actually, I do.
As per running to some hayseed place to get away, since they are both going to have to register as sex offenders, all someone has to do is conduct a search for local sex offenders and if they happen to be in the neighborhood, badda-bing, they’re outted. The shame is that there are some people who legitimately didn’t do much of anything wrong, or who served their time and have moved on, but will never be able to escape their sex-offender past. I have a friend from high school, who didn’t even sleep with, didn’t even touch the girl, that is required to register as a sex offender for life. Some states make the problem worse by making the “I didn’t know her true age” defense inadmissable, even to the point where if minor repeatedly lies, has other people lie, and/or provides false identification.
They may find privacy in a new town, until someone finds out what they did and someone will. Amy and Justin will be judged even harsher in a small town with more conservative views (small towns tend to be more religious and backward thinking). They are screwed for the rest of their lives.
Dan
I think you pretty much summed it up. Although, I’d leave town upon release from prison, perhaps even the state. The infamy will follow them, so, I suggest going rural. Hayseeds in middle Montana might not have ever heard of these freaks.
Name change, anyone?
