Amy Rita Ellsworth, 37, a former special education non-instructional aide at Waterford Mott High School in Waterford, Michigan has reportedly been arrested and charged on allegations that she had sexual relations with three students on and off campus.

Reportedly, Ellsworth is charged with four counts of first degree criminal sexual assault and two counts of third degree criminal sexual assault for alleged offenses with students between October 2008 and September 2009.

Ellsworth was arraigned on the charges on Thursday and was subsequently released on $25,000 bond.

Reportedly, Ellsworth is no longer working at the school.

Ellsworth is due back in court Tuesday for a pre-exam conference.

04/26/10 – No Contest Plea and Sentencing

Amy Ellsworth, who last month pleaded no contest to four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a student, has been sentenced.

Earlier this month Oakland Circuit Judge Michael Warren sentenced Ellsworth to an intermediate prison term of from 62 months to 30 years.

Reportedly, once released from prison Ellsworth will be required to wear an electronic tether.
