Amanda Minor, 28, a substitute teacher at Northwest Valley Middle School in House Springs, Missouri has been charged with one count each of statutory sodomy and statutory rape for allegedly having sex with a male student.
According to a spokesman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office the alleged sexual contact began in late October and continued for several weeks before the victim reported the crime.
The alleged victim is reportedly a student at Northwest Valley Middle School, however it is not clear whether he was a student of Minor.
Following her arrest Minor was being held at the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
06/03/08 - All Charges Dropped
On Monday Jefferson County prosecutors dropped statutory sodomy and statutory rape charges against 28-year-old Amanda Miner.
Prosecutors said there was a contradiction in testimony from a witness prior to yesterday’s scheduled preliminary hearing.

We normally do not remove pages which cover the case of a person either found not guilty or against whom charges were dismissed.
.
Since we reported the arrest, charges and so forth we have an obligation to also report the outcome of the case in favor of the accused.
.
If we merely deleted the page, internet archives which already contain copies of the original page may in the future be presenting pages reflecting the arrest and charges but not the favorable outcome for the defendant.

If a defendant mentioned on this site whose case is subsequently dropped or is found not guilty specifically asks us to remove the page, we will, however owing to the issue of archived copies maintained on other sites and over which we have no control, we recommend against deletion.

I know the whole situation in the Amanda minor case and I know it did not happen.
I personally know her and I know the boy who is making accusations.
He is my little cousin and he had a gigantic crush on Amanda while her fiancé was gone and when he came back my cousin went completely nuts saying he had sex with her. He said this to her fiancé in hopes of him leaving, because she realized once her fiancé was there his fantasies would never be a reality.
After (name deleted by webmaster) (her fiancé) came home (name deleted by webmaster) (my cousin) also began harassing them.
(name deleted by webmaster) has told the police that I (name deleted by webmaster) have slept with her. Which is completely untrue and ridiculous? I was questioned by “DFS” about this and I made sure hey knew it was ludicrous.
But anyway my point is that (name deleted by webmaster) is a little boy with a big crush and got his feelings hurt so he sought revenge by lying to everyone.
