Allison Dean, 30, a former English and Oral Communications teacher at Magnolia Junior High School, in Magnolia, Arkansas has reportedly turned herself in for the sexual assault of a 15-year-old male student.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff, Dean gave drugs to the boy and had sex with him for a period of eight months.
Reportedly, Dean faces eight counts of sexual assault, each carrying a potential prison sentence of from six to thirty years, if convicted.
Dean resigned from the school last week.
Reportedly Dean is free on $25,000 bond pending trial.
Dean’s attorney in a public statement said, “She maintains her innocence and the allegations are wholly fabricated and false”.
Although Dean voluntarily turned herself in to police, she reportedly refused to give a statement to investigators.

An investigation into Dean began after the boy’s mother found several text messages on her son’s phone related to drug use and a caller refused to offer a name, an affidavit by police claims. When questioned by his parents, the boy admitted having sex with a teacher at his school, the affidavit claims.
The affidavit alleges that Dean gave the boy, who was not in any of her classes, her cell phone number. The relationship intensified and the two often met at the Genestet water well near Waldo, where they had sex and smoked marijuana together, the affidavit alleges.
Dean is the second Magnolia Junior High School teacher arrested on sex-related charges in less than four months. Donna Lou Sanders was arrested in April on two counts of accomplice to rape, four counts of third-degree sexual assault and six counts of permitting abuse of a minor.

Look I saw this lady one day In Hope and she look like she was worried about something but I do feel sorry for her and the kids but ladies and gentlemen out here teaching (Deleted by site moderator) and leave the kids alone or you get caught up over some sex, think before you sink into some things like that

I don’t believe race is the issue here. The issue should be that this is a 30 year old woman performing oral sex on a 15 year old boy. If this were reversed and this was a 30 year old man and a 15 year old girl, would he still be locked up or out on bond? A molester is a molester.

I went to school at Nevada High in Rosston, Ar with her. Me and my wife only lived like 5 miles from her. Cant ever tell about anybody, can you? BAD, BAD TEACHER ALLISON YOUNG!

I am curious if race is a factor here. It seems that there are intimations (in other websites and press) that these are usually white teachers and black boys. See the Loni Folks and Stephanie Beaucar entries.

My daughter had Mrs Dean as a teacher. I am so surprised at her. The Lord will take care of this. Just tarnishing my home town. Are the kids safe here.

I am COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY shocked by this. She taught me and I also knew the boy involved. She wasn’t that great of a teacher (okay, truthfully, I learned nothing), but she seemed…law-abiding! Good grief.
