(3/08/08 - Initial BBT Report)
Allie Gilbert Ellington, 61, a social studies teacher at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina has reportedly been arrested on allegations of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Reportedly Ellington is facing two counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor, a felony, for activities which allegedly occurred online.
As of late Friday night, Ellington was being held in jail on $30,000 bond.

i had mr ellington the year he came to myers park, easy class, i was always late and never sent to lockout, he taught our class in a college manner with a lecture. he gave us all the answers for the tests and let us use our notes on the tests which were matching terms. all in all i liked mr ellington as a teacher and i learned alot because i wasnt forced to obtain a massive amount of (********) in one day. this is unfortunate. he wasn’t wierd or dirty in any way. but if he likes little boys and (****), then he has no place in a school system.

I have known Allie Ellington for over 50 years. He has faults and short comings like any person. I do not believe that he is a child molester. I also do not believe that he would put any young person in jeopardy. I hope that this is a misunderstanding that will be cleared up very soon.

id just like to let all the girls that say they were “inappropriately touched” and that mr ellington made “inappropriate remarks” towards girls, the material that he supposedly possessed is of boys.
sorry to ruin your fifteen minutes in the spotlight. i know you would have liked the attention.

Mr. Ellington was a great teacher. There’s no way he could do this. We should wait to see how it plays out.

Mr. Ellington treated everyone fairly, had an open mind, and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt… we should all learn something from him and return the favor.

First of all kirk Hadley was in my class and he is a very sexiest boy and often took advantage of him Mr Ellington made some perverted remarks and he seemed to have a good heart but the whole time i felt that there was something wrong. His part time job he works with crazy children and the whole time he could have been taking pics of them. he was a easy teacher but many of the boys said that he favored the girls in the class so there is a big possibility that he is guilty
