Allan V. Grogan, 50, a special education teacher at Newfane High School in Newfane, New York has reportedly been arrested on allegations of having an inappropriate relationship with a student who is under the age of seventeen.

Reportedly, Grogan has been charged with a felony count of disseminating indecent material to minors, two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse.
Grogan came to the attention of authorities when someone contacted the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office alleging that Grogan was having an inappropriate relationship with a Newfane student.
At a hearing in Newfane Town Court, Grogan posted $5,000 bail and is scheduled for a felony hearing in the same court on May 12th.
As conditions of bail, Grogan was ordered by the court to stay away from Newfane schools and the alleged victim.

Allan V. Grogan has made a court appearance and waived a felony hearing.
The waiver means that his case will now be moved to Niagara County Court.
At Tuesday’s hearing, Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Donatello asked that the conditions of Grogan’s bail be changed and the judge ruled that Grogan must move from his current residence above a daycare facility within two weeks.
Grogan was already been ordered to stay away from school facilities and the alleged victim.
Grogan, who reportedly resigned from the school system, remains free on $5,000 bond.
