Adam Glen Albrecht Sentenced
Posted by: Webmaster in Band/Music, California, Hall of Shame, High Schools, ME-FVAdam Glen Albrecht, 29, of Broadmoor, California and a former music teacher at San Bruno’s Capuchino High School was today sentenced to one year in the San Mateo County jail for a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.
Albrecht entered the no contest plea last month to one felony count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, one felony count of oral copulation with a minor, and one misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, for providing the girl with alcohol and marijuana.
Speaking at today’s sentencing the mother of the victim said, “She was driving the boat, but Mr. Albrecht was the adult”. The girl’s mother went on to say, “This is a man who is immature and self-absorbed. This is the behavior of a 12-year-old boy who happens to have a car.”
The judge sentencing Albrecht told him, “You are the responsible party and you are now the felon as the result of that and you will now be sentenced to a year in county jail.”
In addition to the one-year in jail, Albrecht must also serve three years’ probation, undergo counseling and treatment, and was ordered to have no further contact with the victim.

I cannot help but feeling sadness at seeing this. How come a 16 years old kid can drive, can be put on trial as an adult, but not have sex?
One year in jail for having consensual sex with a 17 5/6 years old girl is ludicrous.
And the girl’s mother should think about the life she just ruined,even admitting her daughter was the one driving the boat. How wonder how she can be so selfish. Did she talk to the professor? Did she talk to the professor’s family?
