Aaron Fusselman

Aaron Scott Fusselman, 25, a government teacher and boys’ lacrosse coach at Sebastian River High School in Sebastian, Florida has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a 15-year-old female student.
Police say that the girl claims the teacher has grabbed her breasts, put his hand under the back of her shirt, rubbed the back of her legs, and whispered “would you let me” in her ear as he grabbed her buttocks.
Allegedly two other students have witnessed inappropriate behavior by Fusselman toward the alleged victim.
It is also alleged that Fusselman admitted to making lewd comments to girls, but he has denied touching them inappropriately.
Fusselman came to the attention of authorities when the alleged victim complained to a school resource officer last month.
Once the first alleged victim came forward additional girls came forward claiming that Fusselman also touched them improperly.
One girl said that Fusselman offered her an A if she’d lift up her dress for him.
Investigators believe that there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to call the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office at (772) 569-6700.

Fusselman didn’t do it, I am in his classroom. He didn’t do it. We have a entire grade and more saying he didn’t. i’ve read police reports saying different stuff. Like the victims friend, which was stated she isn’t her friend. It’s all I lie. Fusselman probably said if she’d pull, up her pants he’d give her a A. But it was probably a joke. He has a wife, and a child on the way. This is just causeing more trouble for Fusselman. He’s a nice guy and trusted. He wouldn’t go around touching any girl, other than his wife. Besides this “victim” isn’t that appealing to anyone… If you would like more evidence, I can prove it.
This is a complete outrage. As a life-long friend of Aaron and his wife’s family, I can state with 100% certainty that this is a complete lie and scandal. There are thousands of esteemed, educated, and good people who will vouch for Aaron’s integrity. That much cannot be said concerning these girls’ baseless accusations. Shame on them for their obscene contrivances. Shame on the administration and law enforcement for considering the outlandish claims of a troubled 15 year old girl over the integrity of a beloved teacher, respected colleague, loyal husband, and proud and expecting father. Finally, shame on the author of this worthless blog for glorifying an outrage with no basis in truth whatsoever. May you all be made to swallow your foolish words and pride.
I’m a high school teacher in the same county, and I know how teens can behave - especially teen girls, lots of drama. That said, Mr. Fusselman should not be working with minor students if he has admitted to any of the inappropriate behavior or statements. I don’t care if the girl in question is the hottest thing walking, or the biggest slut on campus - HE is the adult, the person responsible for the mental and physical safety of his students! I enjoy my students, many of them I’m incredibly fond of - but there is ALWAYS a line drawn to maintain appropriate teacher/student relationships. There shouldn’t even be room for speculation. Mr. Fusselman has made a dangerous mistake and I see it all too often in teachers that want to be well-liked. Lines get crossed, behavior becomes risky and seriously….is a squeeze of a fifteen year old butt worth jail time and loss of your career. How stupid. Of course the kids will rally around him - he’s a “cool” teacher that probably lets them get away with murder. In talking to a colleague of his it was said that he “passes out A’s like Halloween candy”….why wouldn’t kids like him? My sympathy is with his wife and family right now - they don’t deserve this. If Mr. Fusselman is guilty, he has done the unforgivable - abused the trust of parents and students alike. Fondling a child is a crime, even if that child sports 34C’s and has a crush on you.
I am a student in Mr.Fusselman’s history class and I can say that “Aaron” (although we do not call him that) has a basis of moral and righteousness. It seems to be too coincidental that when Mr.Fusselman says “Have a good day/weekend, make good decisions, stay of out trouble, etc.” that he would be a hypocrite to his own statements, beliefs, and values. From an outsider, it is easy for anyone to say “what a sicko!” or “that’s just wrong, but since he’s in his 20s, it seems like he still is into those high school girl”. However, he was happy to announce that he had a baby on the way and showed the sonogram of the baby on one of his daily PowerPoint slides. Every individual that has been in his class knows he isn’t the type of guy that would do such a thing of “grabbing her breasts”, “pulling her pants down”, he acts in a professional and at the same time, caring matter towards his students. To be honest, there is so many rumors going around as to what he even did, that it sums up to be false anyway as the true story would be known to everybody, but it isn’t. The victim, so to speak, comes WAY close, if not, violating dress code policies. It comes off to me, being in her classes before, that she just wants more attention. She can get good test grades, but, as a front, decides to act more non-intellectual then as to what she actually is. Students and teachers alike say the same thing about her. As for the witnesses, it makes no sense that they would come out this late and protest against him, because prior to them doing it, they “didn’t want to get him in more trouble”, but they are doing it anyways? Rumor states she confessed to lying about the whole thing, and I feel horrid about this whole case and the bond payed just so this insecure teenage girl gets more attention. GZY OUT!
