Edgar Flores, 31, a Spanish teacher and soccer coach at Donna High School in Donna, Texas has been arrested on allegations that he sexually assaulted a team member in November.
It is alleged that Flores gave the male student beer, waited for him to pass out and then forced oral sex upon him at a car wash which is a hangout for soccer team members.
Flores came to the attention of authorities when the student’s girlfriend reported the alleged sexual assault to school officials.
Reportedly several witnesses saw Flores and the student at the car wash on the night of the alleged sexual assault.
Flores has been charged with sexual assault and an improper relationship with a student with bail set at $150,000. He has been suspended with pay by the school system.
05/29/09 – Edgar Flores Disappears After Guilty Verdict
Yesterday, a jury found Edgar Flores guilty on one count of sexual assault and two counts of having an improper relationship with a student.
Today, the jury sentenced Flores to 13 years in prison.
Only Flores was not there to be sentenced.
His family members say they last they saw of him was this morning.
The judge issued a warrant for Flores arrest.

Stacey Rochelle Goodloe, 35, an instructional aide who worked with special needs students at Ceres High School, in Ceres, California has been arrested on allegations she sexually abused a male student.
Reportedly on Friday Goodloe was arrested suspicion of sexual assault. She was then booked into the Stanislaus County Jai and subsequently released.
The Modesto Bee reports:
Goodloe is suspected of three felonies: being older than 21 and having intercourse with someone younger than 16; being older than 21 and participating in oral sex with someone younger than 16; and committing a lewd or lascivious act with a 14- or 15-year-old.
Goodloe who has worked for the school district since 2005 has reportedly been placed on administrative leave.
05/29/09 – Court Appearance
Stacey Goodloe pleaded not guilty at an arraignment Friday afternoon in Stanislaus County Superior Court.
Goodloe remains free on $25,000 bail conditioned upon her being prohibited from contacting anyone on campus while her case is pending.
Goodloe waived her right to a speedy preliminary hearing.
Her next court appearance is set for July 16th.

Tracy Sullins, 49, a former security guard at Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been sentenced to 17 years in prison to be followed by three years probation for molesting a girl he met at the school.
In April, Sullins, without benefit of a plea deal with prosecutors, pleaded no contest to one count of lewd molestation.
Sullins was reportedly the lead security guard at Hale High School between 2004 and 2005 and worked as a substitute guard for different Tulsa schools on occasion in 2006.
The victim told investigators that she was 14 when Sullins began paying her to watch him masturbate on a web camera and to have lunch with him. She also told investigators that when she was 15 he paid her to masturbate him in his truck which at the time was parked in front of her home.
Sullins was not an employee of the school system but rather the employee of a private firm contracted with the school system for security services.
Sullins came to the attention of authorities by way of an internet sting operation conducted by law enforcement in Missouri in 2007. During the course of that investigation, officers identified the victim in this case along with several other young girls with whom Sullins allegedly communicated with online.

Odis L. Moreton Jr., 36, a former math teacher at First Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida has been arrested on a charge of sexual battery on a 16-year-old female student.
It is alleged that on September 29, 2008 that Moreton made several explicit sexual remarks to the girl while exposing his penis and grabbing her crotch.
Reportedly the girl told investigators that as she backed out of the classroom, Moreton told her to keep quiet or he’d “be on the news.”
Moreton resigned from the school on October 1st, after school officials first learned of allegations. Moreton was in his second year at the school at the time of his resignation.
Reportedly Moreton had been arrested in 2006 on a warrant for a rape charge stemming from an incident in 1997 and school officials were aware of that arrest but since Moreton was not prosecuted in that case he was not disqualified from be hired for the job.
05/26/09 – Plea Deal and Sentencing
In a plea deal with prosecutors, Odis L. Moreton has reportedly pleaded guilty to one count of child abuse, which is a third-degree felony.
As a result of his plea, Moreton was sentenced to one year in jail to be followed by a year of probation.
Reportedly, Moreton will not have to register as a sex offender.
As part of the plea deal, prosecutors dropped sexual battery and molestation charges involving one of Moreton’s students.

Abbie Jane Swogger, 34, a teacher’s aide at Highlands Senior High School in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania was detained and questioned by police and formal charges are pending on allegations of her renting a hotel room where the police found beer, marijuana, an open condom wrapper and at least four teenage girls and boys, including several of her 15-year-old son’s friends.
Swogger has denied rumors that have been circulating through the high school that she was having sex with her son’s friends.
KDKA and others are reporting that Swogger has resigned from the school system.
Swogger, a one-time exotic dancer, worked for the school system since September providing one-on-one personal-needs assistance for a disabled student.
Reportedly drug and corruption of minors charges are likely pending against Swogger.
Webmaster’s Note: This is an extremely complex case in it’s earliest stages. We will try to follow this case as it plays out. At this stage of things Abbie Jane Swogger is simply a suspect in alleged criminal activity and the investigation continues.
2/26/08 – Charges Filed
Abbiejane Swogger was today charged with felony possession of crack cocaine and corruption of minors.
Swogger maintains her claim of innocence, denying all accusations.
2/27/08 – Arrest Details
Reportedly when police showed up at Swogger’s residence to arrest her she refused to let them in until police threatened to break down the door.
When police entered the Swogger residence they found a 17-year-old boy hiding in her bedroom. The boy is not related to Swogger and was found at the motel room earlier.
Following her arrest bond for Swogger was set at $25,000 with 10% required and she was released from jail after posting $2,500
bail.
The Valley News Dispatch reports that Swogger’s personnel file lacks state-mandated clearances required of all school employees and that Swogger had been under investigation regarding a relationship between Swogger and a 17-year-old boy and photographs of Swogger involved in inappropriate behavior that were being circulated throughout the high school.
2/27/08 – Swogger Arrested Again
Swogger is in the Westmoreland County Jail with a bail hearing set for March 6th.
This after she allegedly violated the terms of her bail bond which required her to remain in her residence. Reportedly a caller notified police who found her at a friend’s house and took her into custody.
Again…
Meanwhile, the school district is offering counseling to students and asking that students with nude pictures of Swogger destroy them.
2/28/08 – Court Hearing Details
A 15-year-old female testified that she telephoned Swogger on Tuesday evening. She told the court that she wanted to talk about the 17-year-old boy. The witness testified that the 17-year-old boy is the father of her 2-month-old son.
The teen further testified that Swogger offered her and another girl $40 to beat up a girl that might have made public a cell phone photo of a nude Swogger being caressed by several boys and men at a party.
As an outgrowth of the nude pictures allegedly depicting Swogger and young boys in inappropriate contact police are now considering whether Swogger will face additional criminal charges allegedly involving boys as young as 14.
3/27/08 – Additional charges Filed
New charges have been filed against Swogger.
Police now say that lured two teenage girls to her Clarion Hotel room in the hopes of getting them drunk and high and then wanted them to have sex with her.
04/24/08 – Even More Charges Filed Against Swogger
Abbie Jane Swogger has been charged with 33 additional counts.
The latest round of charges includes allegations that Swogger performed a sex act on a 16-year-old boy at his house three weeks prior to the hotel party, that she stripped for men and boys at the home of a 15-year-old boy in January and that Swogger allowed the men and boys to touch her inappropriately.
Swogger has a preliminary hearing set for May 1st and she remains in the Westmoreland County jail.
05/01/08 – Court Hearing
Swogger was arraigned this week on the 33 counts. The court has ruled that her cases will all be heard in Allegheny County.
Swogger’s efforts to get her bail reduced were denied.
She remains jailed on a bail totaling $150,000.
A preliminary hearing on all of the charges is set for May 15.
05/15/08 – Preliminary Hearing
Abbie Jane Swogger has been ordered to stand trial on 39 charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors and possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine.
While being taken back to jail following the preliminary hearing Swogger spoke of the boys at the alleged hotel party saying, “They’re lying to save their own butts from getting in trouble for the things that they’ve done.” When asked by reporters to explain Swogger replied with “No comment”.
Swogger remains jailed in lieu of on $150,000 bond.
05/26/09 – Guilty Plea and Sentencing
Abbie Jane Swogger has reportedly pleaded guilty to almost a dozen charges, including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor. The plea deal came on the day that Swogger’s trial was set to begin.
WPXI TV reports that Swogger pleaded guilty on 11 counts and that seventeen other counts against her were withdrawn as part of the plea deal.
As a result of her guilty plea, Swogger was sentenced to prison for a term of from 3 to 6 years to be followed by 36 years probation.
Swogger will be required to register as a sex offender for life.

Bruce Germany, a former teacher’s aide at Lakeside Center for Troubled Youth in Maryland Heights, Missouri has been convicted on charges of having sexual contact with two 15 year-old girls over a period of several months.
Germany was convicted on 14 felony counts of sexual contact with a student by a teacher. The crimes were alleged to have occurred between September, 2006 and April, 2007.
The jury which convicted Germany recommended a 4-year sentence for each felony count, with the sentences totaling 56 years.
Formal sentencing is set for June 19th.
