Gregg D. Decker, a former substitute teacher in the Southern Regional School District in New Jersey has reportedly been indicted by an Ocean County grand jury on multiple sex charges in connection with allegations by a middle school student in 2005.
Decker has been free on $50,000 bail for more than three years since his arrest.
He came to the attention of authorities in 2005 when the alleged victim’s mother went to investigators and told them “her daughter and the teacher may have had a sexual relationship”. Allegedly the girl confirmed her mother’s suspicions to investigators.
Decker has been charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, second-degree official misconduct, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact on allegations.
The alleged sexual contact between Decker and the then 14-year-old girl reportedly occurred between January 1 and February 28, 2005.
02/28/09 – Sentencing
Gregg Decker, who on December 1 in a plea deal with prosecutors pleaded to sexual assault, was sentenced to four years in prison Friday.
As part of the December plea deal, charges of official misconduct, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact and child endangerment were dismissed.
Decker is subjected to lifetime parole supervision under the terms of Megan’s Law.

Michael Kosor, a fifth-grade math teacher at Kelly Elementary School in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania has been arrested and jailed on allegations tht he touched one of his students inappropriately in the boys’ bathroom.
Reportedly Kosor was arrested Tuesday on charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors after the parent of a 10-year-old boy told police her son was touched by his math teacher while he was using the restroom.
It is alleged that on on January 14th Kosor walked up behind the boy and touched his buttocks.
Reportedly Kosor has been placed on administrative leave by the school system.
Kosor is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
02/27/09 – Charges Dismissed
A judge has dismissed all charges against Michael Kosor.
At the preliminary hearing, the alleged victim testified someone touched his buttocks, at which point he pulled up his pants and ran out of the restroom.
The boy testified that he didn’t know who touched him and didn’t see his teacher in the bathroom.

Major Cullin Lumpkins (USMC Ret), senior instructor for the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program at Round Rock High School, Round Rock, Texas has been charged with sexual assault of a child.
Major Lumpkins was arrested on Wednesday for an alleged incident that is said to have occurred off campus.
Lumpkins has reportedly been placed on administrative leave by the school system.
Few details of the allegations against Lumpkins are available at this time, however it appears that the alleged victim was not a student at the school.
Major Lumpkins, who reportedly holds a BA degree in Political Science from The Citadel, retired from the U.S. Marine Corps with 22 years of active service and has reportedly been associated with the JROTC program at Round Rock High School for 5 years.
Following his arrest on Wednesday, Lumpkins was being held in the Williamson County Jail in lieu of $60,000 bail.

Vincent Matthew Lopez, 46, an instructional aide in the Chula Vista Elementary School District, in Chula Vista, California has been arrested after a 15-year-old relative called police reporting she had been molested.
Reportedly, after receiving the call regarding the alleged molestation, officers went to the residence and subsequently interviewed two girls, ages 14 and 15.
Vincent Lopez was arrested Sunday on suspicion of multiple counts of lewd acts with a child and was subsequently freed on $350,000 bail.
Chula Vista police detectives believe there may be more victims and are hoping Lopez’s photo could prompt other victims to come forward.
Lopez has reportedly been placed on administrative leave by the school system.
A school district spokesperson has indicated that Lopez has worked for at least two district campuses. Reportedly Lopez has worked at Halecrest Elementary School and Tiffany Elementary Schools.
Lopez was arraigned on 10 felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts on children aged 14 and 15, and two misdemeanor counts of molestation.
Investigators say the victims are not students, but rather a relative of Lopez, and that victim’s friend.

Crystal Shipman, a teacher at Concord High School, in Concord, Arkansas has been accused of giving drugs to one student and having a sexual relationship with another.
Shipman came to the attention of authorities via a criminal complaint filed by the Concord School District.
It is alleged that Shipman gave an 18-year-old male student drugs and engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
A spokesperson for the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department has indicated that Shipman has admitted to the allegations and the Sheriff’s Department is seeking a warrant for her arrest on one count of sexual assault in the first degree, a class “A” felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor.
Reportedly Shipman is married with three children.
(U. S. – Mississippi) The Mississippi Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear the post conviction petition of John Anthony Magyar of Leland, a former teacher, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual battery involving a 15-year-old student. Link
(U. K. – South Wales) Headteacher’s son James Davies, 23, a teaching assistant has been jailed for grooming teenage schoolgirls for sex by bombarding them with text messages. Link
(U. K. – South Wales) Abby Pippin, 34, a chemistry at Bryntirion Comprehensive in Bridgend, South Wales facing disciplinary tribunal over allegations of sex with the 17-year-old after he texted her. Link 1 and Link 2
(U. S. – Nevada) Pete Garcia, a computer technician and bus driver, at Robertson High School in Las Vegas is reportedly being sued for alleged sexual misconduct, according to KOB TV. Link
(U. K.) A 15-year-old schoolgirl in northeast England earned about 14,000 pounds ($30,641.28) over two months by working as a prostitute, it has emerged. Her unusual weekend job was exposed when a teacher at her school in South Shields, near Newcastle, found condoms, lubricant and details of the agency she worked for in her school bag. Link

S. – Minnesota) A Minnesota man has filed a lawsuit accusing DeLaSalle High and the school’s Roman Catholic parent groups of failing to protect him from sexual abuse by covering up the past of DeLaSalle brother, Charles Anthony Raimond Rose, a teacher, who allegedly repeatedly molested him at DeLaSalle when he was 16 and a student at the school.
