Dennis Edward Lucas Jr., 39, of Moreno Valley, California and a campus supervisor at Fremont Elementary School in Riverside, California has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a 10-year-old fifth-grade student.

Reportedly the girl told police that Lucas started talking to her on Tuesday and began touching her while touching himself through his clothes.

Lucas came to the attention of police after the girl’s mother complained to the school principal on Wednesday morning and the principal called police.

Following his arrest Lucas was released on $50,000 bond.

Five additional allegations of inappropriate touching by Lucas have been made since his arrest.

Lucas who monitors school security has been placed on administrative leave.

David N. Scheck, 25, the band director and music teacher at West Morris Central High School in Chester, New Jersey has been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a student.

Scheck is charged with one count of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, one count of Second Degree Sexual Assault, one count of Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, one count of fourth degree Criminal Sexual Contact, one count of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of third degree Witness Tampering.

Scheck is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student and then scheming with the girl to cover up the relationship after her parents went to police.

Scheck allegedly had sexual contact with the girl both at her home and in a band practice room at the school.

Scheck came to the attention of police in June when the girl’s parents complained however Scheck denied the allegations, hired a lawyer and stopped talking with investigators.

It was not until October that the girl confided in another person regarding the relationship and that person told police.

Following his arrest Scheck was held on bail of $100,000.

Kelli Jo Camp, 29, working as a temporary teacher at New Cuyama High School, in Santa Barbara, CA was arrested yesterday on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

Camp in addition to working at New Cuyama High School is also reportedly a manager at Valarie House, a group home in Santa Maria, CA and has had also been teaching at Righetti High School in Santa Maria earlier this school year and was also a cheerleading instructor at Lakeview Junior High in Orcutt, CA and at Central Coast Shock Wave cheerleading center in Santa Maria.

Camp is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old New Cuyama High School student.

School administrators became suspicious of an inappropriate relationship over the past several months after frequent visits to her classroom by male students, finding photos of the victim in Camp’s desk, and greeting cards from the victim “expressing his love for her,” according to Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Erik Raney.

6/13/07 - Not Guilty Plea

11/27/07 - Guilty Plea Entered

According to the Santa Maria Times, Kelli Jo Camp has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 17-year-old male student at New Cuyama High School.

The report indicates that Camp will appear in court Friday at which time she will be sentenced to one year in jail to be followed by five years probation.

As part of a plea agreement a grand theft count against Camp was dropped by prosecutors.

11/30/07 - Sentencing

Kelli Jo Camp was today officially sentenced to one year in jail and 5 years probation.

Camp will NOT have to register as a sex offender.
